Dr Massoud Hajsadr
My tutoring approach
I believe that learning is quite addictive especially when learners begin improving and achieving better grades. That is why initially I focus on identifying your preferred learning style and hence the teaching approach that suits you best so that you can begin experiencing true learning immediately.
In our lessons I will also show you memory enhancing techniques and problem solving methodologies.
I will use NLP techniques to assist you maintain a good level of motivation throughout and help you reach a satisfactory level of confidence and acquire a reassuring resilience towards exams and exam situations.
I have much dedicated resources that I have personally designed to suit the learning style of my students. For visual learners I have my animated teaching clips, for kinaesthetic learners I have the practical routines and games that suits them and for linguistic learners I have the easy explanations that resonate with them.
I am totally committed to my students success and I have often created new ways for helping them conquer their difficulties.
My past success record proves that achieving that A is possible for you too. 8 out of 10 of my students have improved by at least 2 grades. The study skills that you will learn from me can help you improve your success rate in other subjects too.
Let's get that A or A*

Massoud is an extremely knowledgeable and clearly a very experienced tutor. He is quite innovative in using the online teaching environment. Massoud has a clear view of how I can achieve an A* and he plans the appropriate study strategies for me to achieve it. His lessons are quite engaging and productive and since the progress we make is so visible, his lessons are positively motivating.
Dr Massoud Hajsadr is truly committed to getting the best out of his students. On the last year of her GCSE we were informed that Gemma had been entered for the foundation paper which at best could get her a C grade and that realistically she only stood the chance of getting a D.
Massoud advised us to request that school should enter Gemma for the higher paper and after some heated debates they did. With Massoud's help Gemma got an A* in GCSE and then went on to complete her AS with an A in c1 and c2 and s1.
Massoud is not just a professional and extremely knowledgable teacher, he is also a motivator, a researcher and an innovator. We are totally grateful for what he has done for our grand daughter Gemma and what she has achieved to date.
I want to thank you for your exceptional level of professionalism, knowledge, expertise and endless caring attitude. Faye was visibly happier in herself after every lesson with you. We were told by her school that Faye has a condition called Dyscalculia and because of that her progress in Math was very very poor. You did not believe in any disabilities, but what was exciting for me was that you wanted to prove it and God Almighty you did. With your persistence Faye got a B in her GCSE Math. I can't thank you enough. Disabilities may be true, but I no longer believe them since it is that belief which is disabling.
When I began my lessons with Massoud I was completely lost. Thanks to his patience, encouragement and planning I got my A in GCSE math. His energising chats really helped me pull through. I had really given up, but he helped me realise that achieving an A was possible for me. I admire his patience without which I would have never found my true potentials. I admire his knowledge and his clever ways of explaining things even more. Also thanks for helping me plan my studies and measuring my efforts. School had predicted an optimistic C for me so everyone was quite amazed and pleased with my A. I cannot thank him enough and I will be back for more Math soon!
As an A-level student of Massoud’s the main contributing factors to my success was his adaptive and adoptable teaching styles along with his undeniable ability to motivate. He knows the course in great depth and breadth and as an active academic, he is constantly providing exceptional detail and remains up to date with current affairs in the subject using his fellow academics for discussion in the online communities he is part of. Massoud provides a twist to tutoring through his use of technology. Massoud genuinely cares for his student’s success and this is perhaps why I became confident of my end success very early on. In all confidence I would not hesitate to recommend Massoud for tutoring and helping any student at any level of education towards success. I owe my A in A-Level Math to Massoud's support.
Alex my son has always lacked confidence in himself and his mathematical
abilities since secondary school. Of course now that with your help he achieved
an A in his GCSE and then an A in his A-Level, he knows that he is a
capable mathematician and he is quite confident about his abilities. Alex
is doing a degree in mechanical engineering at Manchester University and
he has remained quite confident so far. He has already scored good marks
for their interim tests. It is amazing to see the difference in Alex especially for us who
had seen him struggling before. Thanks to your teaching style and your ability to motivate today we have a confident and going places son. Thank you very much.
Sessions with Massoud are always beneficial, his way of explaining such complex aspects make the maths subject more than manageable. I always leave with a better understanding of the topic we have covered. He is very helpful and genuinely committed to my success. His help is not limited to our tutor sessions, he is always available if problems arrive outside of lessons which has been effective in widening my ability.
Receiving mathematics lessons from Massoud has been a pleasure, the calm, effective and creative methods he used to bring each subject together, have been extremely beneficial to myself.
Massoud created a tailor made journey from GCSE to Bachelor Degree level Engineering Mathematics in only three months. I feel this is not only a personal achievement, but one which is fully accredited to Massoud's ability to teach. He is also a number one motivator.
I am currently studying A Level Further Maths and have found Massoud’s teaching invaluable in helping me progress. My college predicted me a grade E as a final grade, saying even this was optimistic, but since beginning lessons with Massoud, am hoping for and believe I could realistically reach an A at the end of this year. He has a very systematic approach, covering every topic in sufficient detail and leaving no stone unturned. He keeps lessons interesting through a variety of approaches, such as working through questions together and using animations and diagrams (not just exam papers). One of his greatest assets is that he explains things in a simple, yet non-patronising way and has helped me quickly understand concepts that baffled me in class. I find his lessons enjoyable and look forward to them each week, and would highly recommend his services to anyone of any age or ability hoping to improve in Maths.
Rebecca began her lessons with Massoud when she was 12 years old. We were told by the school that she was equivalent to a 6 year old for her English and Maths. We didn't need the school to tell us that, we knew that Rebecca wasn't happy. She had gradually changed from a happy and playful child to a shy, quiet and quite angry person. As far as the school was concerned our daughter had special educational needs.
Rebecca is 15 years old now. In her recent mock GCSE exams she scored a C for Math and a D for English. Dr Massoud Hajsadr is not just a teacher, he is an IT expert, he is a toy maker, he creates games, etc. He has some wonderful ways of teaching. If Rebecca does not understand something at school she often says she will wait for Massoud as he knows how to make her understand.
Our daughter certainly is not a special needs student and she sits in the same class as everyone else. So much improvement in both Math and English and all that was achieved with 1 lesson a week for 1 hour.
I have been taught by Massoud for both my GCSE and A level maths exams. I found his knowledge of the subject excellent and I always find his lessons interesting and engaging. He is a very easy person to talk to and is also able to explain things in a manner that makes things easy to understand. I feel he takes a genuine interest in how I am doing with my studies, particularly maths, and I feel his help was invaluable in me achieving an A grade at GCSE level and hopefully with his help I will do equally as well at A level.
Dr. Massoud is an excellent tutor. He takes my 11 year old son in Maths and my son always looks forward to having his lessons with him. He was able to identify my son's needs and he tailored the lessons to suit him and so far, he has made a great positive impact on him. He takes his time to explain the topics clearly to him and he gives him some work to test his understanding of the topic; he engages him. He is always very positive and encourages my son and this has helped build my son's confidence in Maths. His various methods of teaching make learning Maths fun for my son. He has had three lessons with him so far and I would say that I am very satisfied and will book for more.
I work as an instructor in the field of IT, teaching CompTIA A+ certificate to a wide range of student ability. I have used some of Massoud's teaching brilliance and also some of his HNC teaching material for my course. His lessons are constructed so that the main points are never missed out. I have learnt more than just the course material from Massoud, I have learnt how to be a better instructor. His motto that academic achievement is addictive is true. I often found myself spending much more time on his work because I became good at it. I will certainly try and train my students with the same attitude.
Amy was 12 when she began her Maths and English lessons with Dr Hajsadr. She was very quiet and never asked for help in class. She was a bundle of nerves when it came to do any Maths or English. She was recognised as a 7 year old for her reading and writing. Dr Hajsadr came to her help, tutoring her for only one hour per week. After 2 years Amy was in the top set for her English and set 2 for Maths. She writes stories that are wonderful and even her teachers cannot believe how much progress she has made. Amy is studying hard to get an A in Maths. She is so confident and we are very proud.
As a PGCE student, I had to complete a couple of maths units to gain an equivalent C at GCSE. I always struggled with maths when I was younger. I hated maths at school. A friend introduced me to Massoud. He makes maths so easy! He has an explanation for everything. I think that is what I needed. I needed reasons rather than just procedures. I needed to know the WHYs rather than HOWs. I got an A. Thank you.
Dr Massoud teaches 4 of my children aged from 9 to 15. They look forward to working with him. Even my 9 year old who is quite active and difficult to focus. For him Massoud teaches by playing, for my daughter he creates stories that keep her interested. For my older sons he motivates them to work much harder on their studies. They like doing his homework. Ibrar and Safiaan have moved up to higher sets. Israr has been put in for higher paper instead of foundation. Zara is much happier and has begun to shine in class. I have recommended Massoud to my other relatives.
Dr Hajsadr had taught our son Anthony for the past three years. Anthony has never been very academic and had struggled with Math. He often experienced panic attacks in class and especially when dealing with homework. Dr Hajsadr changed all that. He recognised that Anthony was a visual learner and created so many Maths animations for him. Many dedicated resources that were purposefully designed to suit him. He is so resourceful which has made him a very successful tutor. Anthony has become a competent mathematician. He has achieved an A in his GCSE and he is on his way to getting similar successful results at A-Level.
I found that Massoud takes the time to explain things in an easy to understand way. His down-to-earth explanations make it easy to remember too. Everyone of his lessons are enjoyable because progress is obvious. He is a very dedicated teacher. His energy is endless which I found motivated me to do more.
