This is one of the simplest approaches to getting through that ever-expanding workload. If the fear of exams and coursework deadlines isn’t enough to tie you to the library desk, this is a way to almost trick yourself in to enjoying the routine of completing a task.

#3 Don’t Break the Chain

Put simply: you choose the task you need to tackle, and make a start on it. The following day (and every subsequent day until the task is completed) you should allocate the same amount of time to finishing this activity, marking each session on a calendar. I’m sure you can see where this is going now – the point of the approach is to not break the chain.

One of the best parts is that you can look ahead and book time off for sick days or breaks. And the other best part is that this method is entirely free – all you need is a calendar and a marker, before you are on your way to mega productivity.
